LEUKEMIA AWARENESS BONE MARROW DRIVE
In Memory of Paul Theodore, who recently passed away, the Caitlin Raymond
Medical University affiliated with the U Mass Medical Center is appealing
to all Orthodox individuals to help build a bone marrow pool as a preventive
measure for future illnesses. There is a shortage of donors from our ethnic
Mediterranean origins. The drive requires a simple Q-tip swab done from
an individual's mouth from age 18-60 years old. Clinicians from the University
will be signing people up following the Divine Liturgy today
in the Cotsidas Auditorium, and passing out information to our community
to help educate us on this disease.
