STEWARDSHIP NEWS
The 2009 Stewardship Program has launched. Please look for the Stewardship package and pledge envelope in the mail. We suggest you budget your Stewardship contribution as you do your monthly home expenses. Paying it monthly makes it more affordable. For example, paying a Family Contribution of $475 monthly translates to $39.58 per month. Less then most of our cable bills. Please stop at the office or call to make your payment arrangements or installment plans. For those who have not completed their 2008 payments, please submit them as soon as possible. Christian Stewardship is everyone's responsibility not just for the few...For hardship situations, Father Dean and Father Greg are available to discuss other arrangements.
Please note: Stewardship Sunday is January 25, 2009.

FAMILY CENTER NEWS
The Building Committee is moving ahead with the plans and preparations for a spring ground breaking. We will keep the community up to date with the progress. Al Matulaitis of the Building Committee is serving as our Cathedral Project Manager. He will be the direct liaison between the Building Committee and the project professionals.
Up to date milestones we have accomplished:
• Hired CJK Design Group as Architects and accepted the design concept
• Evaluated 6 contractors for pre-construction/ construction capabilities and selected Glacon Construction Company, Inc. to participate in a "Team/Build Process"
• Established a 5-member sub-committee of the Building Committee to coordinate Project Management
• Signed loan commitment letter with Commerce Bank
• Working on detailed Construction Documents so that the project can go out to bid
• Raised in pledges and donations $2,200,000 to date
The project WILL NOT happen without everyone pledging their financial commitment within their means. If you have not pledged to date, please do so now so that we can all celebrate groundbreaking by spring.
