PHILOPTOCHOS NEWS
Our next General Meeting will be held on February 2nd at 7:00pm in the Tonna Room. We will launch our new Philoptochos Commitment, Autism Awareness. Our guest speaker will be Harry Tembenis who will tell us the story of his little boy named Elias who tragically passed away from this affliction. Philoptochos members, St. Spyridon parishioners and friends are welcome!

Look for your 2010 Stewardship Package in the mail. We ask that you budget for Stewardship as you do your family expenses. Please consider being a "Sponsor the Church for a Day" donor as well. There are many payment options available to make your payment as convenient as possible.
HELLENIC ARTS SOCIETY
An Anthony Quinn Film Retrospective
Sunday, January 24th: "A Dream of Kings," with Irene Papas. Based on a novel by Harry Mark Petrakis
Sunday, January 31st: "The Guns of Navarone," set in World War II Sunday,
February 7th: "Onassis: the Richest Man in the World"
All films are in English and in color. Showtime is 4:00 pm in the Cotsidas Auditorium. Members: Free Non-members : $5.00 per film.
Reception to follow each film.
FAMILY CENTER NEWS
The Family Center is poised to start ground breaking by early spring. We will be scheduling a special informative meeting to discuss the next steps with the community in a few weeks. We hope you will be informed by also asking questions about our 3-stage construction schedule and time line. Plan to attend this meeting when it is scheduled. We need the voice of everyone, not just a few, to make this happen. Please call anyone on the Family Center Committee for more information, questions or how you can make your pledge.

LITTLE ANGELS
The Little Angels playgroup meets every Wednesday from 10:30-12:30pm beneath the Cathedral.
GOYA
The next GOYA meeting will take place on Tuesday, January 26th at 6:30 pm beneath the Cathedral.
HOPE
Children K-2 - please join us for HOPE, a new youth program to help children learn more about their faith and culture while making new church friendships. HOPE will meet on Monday, January 25 from 4:00-5:15 beneath the Cathedral. This month Father Greg will talk about St. Spyridon.
