Angeliki Ganas, 40 day memorial service; Mina Shuraja, 20 year trisagion service

   The Altar Flowers today were donated in loving memory of Angeliki Ganas by her family. Also, the Altar Flowers were donated in honor of the Marriage of Konstantinos Bottos by his mother Cassiani.
 
 
 

The Coffee hour today is sponsored in honor of Father Dean's Name Day by Presvytera Cynthia & Family, and in honor of Konstantinos Markopoulos’ name day.

MEMORIAL DAY TRISAGION SERVICE
As customary, Father Dean will be at the Orthodox Cross of the Cemetery Memorial Day, Monday, May 26th at 10:00 a.m. for trisagion services for our beloved family members.
The Church office is closed on Monday, May 26th, Memorial Day.

GREEK SCHOOL GRADUATION
The Greek School Graduation will take place on Tuesday, May 27th at 6:00 p.m. in the Cotsidas Auditoriuμ.

CATHEDRAL NEWS JULY/AUGUST
Deadline for all submissions is June 1st. Please send electronic copy to pam.gertsios@spyridoncathedral.org or leave a hard copy in the office.

PARISH GENERAL ASSEMBLY
The Parish Council announces the rescheduling of the Parish General Assembly that was held on May 12th because a quorum was not present. Rescheduled date: May 28th at 6:30 pm in the Cotsidas Auditorium with a light dinner.

GRECIAN FESTIVAL JUNE 6, 7, 8
The final Grecian Festival committee meeting will be Thursday May 29th at 7:15pm. Committee members will be signing up volunteers for the Festival during coffee hour. Please return your Raffle Tickets to the Cathedral Office as soon as possible.

AGORA
Please donate any new or slightly worn handmade linens to the AGORA linen booth. You may leave them in the office with Alexandra. Volunteer your time and talent to help in the AGORA: Before the Festival to help decorate and set-up; During the Festival to work in the many shops we will have; After the Festival to help take apart the Agora. Sign up sheets are posted in the Cotsidas Auditorium. Any questions please call Erin Moudios: 508-612-7529.

ORPHEUS CONCERT
June 2nd at 5:30 pm Saint Spyridon Cathedral together with Cultural Center Hrisohorafiton will present a concert of the renowned choir "ORPHEUS" from the Prefecture of Serres, Greece, in the church proper. Donation $10.00
Dinner to follow at Coral Seafood. Donation $50.00
Join us for this event to kick-off Grecian Festival week and enjoy the music and culture directly from Greece. Tickets available in the Church Office or by contacting Dawn Georgiadis at 508-864-7977.

ALEXANDER THE GREAT
The Cultural Center Hrisohorafiton “Alexander the Great” will host their 8th Annual Golf Tournament on Sunday, June 1st at 1:00 pm at the Heritage Country Club. HOLY TRINITY CORNER
Treasured Generations 2008 is Holy Trinity's annual gift program that guarantees our elders and their families will have an Orthodox home when they need it most.

METROPOLIS OF BOSTON LAITY AWARD DINNER
The 22nd Annual Metropolis of Boston Laity Award Dinner will take place on Munday, June 1st. The recipients this year from our Cathedral are Mike and Janice Dionis. Congratulations and thank you for all the work you have done for our Cathedral. For your reservations please call the Cathedral office tickets are $75.00 each and the check should be made out to the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Boston.
