DAUGHTERS OF PENELOPE

The Daughter's of Penelope are having their bake sale following the Divine Liturgy in the Foyer of the New Auditorium.

PARISH COUNCIL ELECTIONS
Parish council elections will take place in the Tonna Room following the Divine Liturgy.

FLOWER DONATION OPPORTUNITY
Did you know that you can make a donation for the Altar Flowers ordered each week? This can be for the acknowledgement of your Name Day, in memory of a loved one, in honor of someone's birthday or birth of a new child, or JUST BECAUSE. Arrangements can be made by calling Alexandra in the Cathedral's Administrative Office. Each donation will be GREATLY appreciated and acknowledged in the Weekly Bulletin.

FAMILY CENTER NEWS
The Mosaic Tile campaign is ongoing, this is your chance to purchase a tile and have it engraved with your family name or that of a loved one. Cards are at the office but the breakdown is as follows. If you can't get to the office you can call Alexandra and she will complete the card for the purchase with the information you would like on the tile. You can also take care of payment when you call either with credit card, or mailing in a check. Tiles can be purchased as follows:

Áóðñï (white)--$100
Cards and details in the Auditorium foyer.

CHOIR
Our Cathedral Choir is actively seeking new members (Age 14 and up male and female) to expand its cathedral choir and enhance our Sunday liturgies. Anyone who likes to sing please join us Sunday mornings at 9:00 am for rehearsals or call Bill Pappazisis, Choir Director at 508-870-0903 or email at wjjep@verizon.net
The choir would like to invite all students who have attended any church summer camps to join us upstairs in the choir loft at 10:00am prior to attending their Sunday school classes.

HELLENIC ARTS SOCIETY
The Hellenic Arts Society presents a Members-Only Event: "Jazz in the Afternoon," featuring Greg Floor and his Quartet. Sunday, December 4th at Tatnuck Country Club. Performance at 1:00, followed by lunch. All members must reserve for this event. Please contact Kay Milio.

SPECIAL EVENTS
SAVE THE DATE! Saturday December 31st, St. Spyridon will again be hosting the New Years Eve Gala in the brand new Cotsidas auditorium. If anyone would like to join the committee, please contact someone from the special events committee.


 

 

LITTLE ANGELS
The Little Angels playgroup for children ages 0-5 years of age, Along with Moms, Dads, Grandparents, Caregivers, etc. will meet every Wednesday from 9:30 am - 11:30 am at the Founders Court.

HOPE
HOPE will meet on Monday, November 21 from 4:00-5:30 in the Founders Court. The children will discuss gratitude and how to give thanks. They will also make a keepsake plate with an artist from Claytime who will come to St. Spyridon to assist with this project. All children in grades K-3 are invited to attend and siblings are always welcome. Help your children make new church friendships while learning more about our faith and culture. GOYA
GOYA will meet every Tuesday at 6:30 pm in the Founders Court.

ST. SPYRIDON PRESCHOOL
Jenn Ward, the Director of St. Spyridon's Preschool has openings available in the Preschool. day program. Any one that has a child 2 years and 9 months-5 years of age please inquire by calling the office or the Preschool number. Please call 508-752-5354. The Preschool offers classes 5 days a week as well as extended hours 8:00 am until 2:45 pm.

HOLY TRINITY NEWS
Holy Trinity Hospice is happy to provide opportunities for speakers for an event you may be holding. Topics include: "GETTING THROUGH HOLIDAYS & OTHER SPECIAL DAYS AFTER A LOSS", "ADVANCED DIRECTIVES - Who will speak for you if you become too ill to speak for yourself?" or, we can customize a presentation for your organization. PHILOPTOCHOS NEWS
The Philoptochos Christmas Party will take place on Tuesday, December 6th in our New Cotsidas Auditorium at 6:00 p.m. guests are invited. Also, on that date at 4:00 p.m. we are having a few boutique tables so you can do your Christmas shopping. It is open to our community.
The Social Service Committee: Please provide the Ladies Philoptochos Society with names of the elderly in our community who are in nursing homes and other facilities, also those who are sick and housebound with limited family support. We need this information compile our list for our outreach visits in December. Those wishing to make a contribution for this program may contact Maria Stefanakos with donation. Our Social Services committee is always available to assist ANYONE in need at any time of the year. Contact can be made through a Board member or the Cathedral Office.
