HOPE
Parents of children K-2 please join us for HOPE, a new youth program to help children learn more about their faith and culture while making new church friendships. HOPE will meet on Monday, November 23 from 4:00-5:15 beneath the Cathedral. This month Father Greg will talk about the importance of gratitude and thanksgiving.
SUNDAY SCHOOL GIVING TREE
The Sunday School is collecting gifts for children through its annual giving tree. It is an opportunity for the children of the Sunday School, as well as the rest of the parish, to give to children truly in need. The gifts collected will be given to the students of the Hartwell Learning Center. Some of these students will not receive any other gifts for Christmas than those we provide them.
In addition, gift cards to local supermarkets are welcome (in $10 denominations). These will be given to Fr. Dean and Fr. Greg for our church's Poor & Needy Fund and distribution at their discretion. The children of the Sunday School may feel free to offer any monetary donation toward the purchase of these cards by the Sunday School program.
Please visit our tree outside the Cotsidas Auditorium after liturgy on Sundays for details and to select an ornament that will truly make a difference in a child's life.
CHOIR
Our church choir is seeking new members, both male and female from ages 16 and up, to enhance our Sunday liturgies. Anyone who likes to sing please join us Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. or call Bill Pappazisis at 508-870-0903 or e-mail at wjjep@verizon.net
JUNIOR CHOIR
With the blessing of our Priests and Choir Director, Christiana Poly a junior member of our Choir has offered to create the Junior Choir League inviting all youth ages 12-18 to join. Christiana is available immediately following Divine Liturgy in the Tonna Room to meet those who are interested and sign them up to start rehearsing and learning hymns. Please encourage your children to partake in this new and wonderful ministry.
