FAMILY CENTER NEWS
The Family Center Committee is accepting pledges from individuals or families "in honor" or "in memory of" a loved one. As the holidays approach this is a wonderful gift to give for the legacy of your family or loved one as well as be part of Saint Spyridon's history.

ANNOUNCEMENT
We thank Dr. Mary Lekas who pledged $250,000 to the Family Center in honor of her mother Mrs. Merciny Lekas of blessed memory. Mrs. Lekas was a devout steward who served as Philoptochos president as well as Greek School teacher for over 25 years in our community.
Saint Spyridon Veterans Recognition Initiative
In honor of Pearl Harbor Day, December 7 the flags are flying at half mass per the request of President Bush, and the following Veterans who fought to preserve our freedom and liberty are being recognized:

Maria Stefanakos, Philoptochos member will be taking donations for our Christmas Outreach Program that provides gifts for those home bound or alone. Please look for her after Divine Liturgy to give your donation.
GREEK SCHOOL PTA
The Greek School P.T.A will be having their annual bake sale on December 16th. The committee will be taking orders today, following the Divine Liturgy in the foyer of the Cotsidas Auditorium.
