As a subcommittee of the Building
Committee, our aim is to work hand
in hand with the Building Committee.
By being completely informed of all
the details, tasks and timelines we
can continue to develop a strategy
to both keep our community informed
of the project as well as the fund
raising efforts needed to ensure our
Family Center gets built. Simply,
the Capital Campaign's mission is
to devote effort and energy to help
raise awareness and capital for the
purpose of funding, building and operating
our new Family Center. It is not the
job of just a few but of all of us.
With our collective efforts we can
make the Family Center our reality...a
legacy for the future generations
while addressing the growing needs
of our senior members of our community.
The pledge drive was launched at
the end of the summer, 2005 after
the General Assembly meeting. Extensive
Angel Drive pledge packages were forwarded
to all community members. In addition
to the individual or family donation,
we are offering commemorative and
naming opportunities in honor of a
loved one, or someone living you would
like to leave their name as a legacy.
The success of the Family Center will
only happen if each individual and
family makes a concerted effort to
commit to a pledge within their means.
Some may only be able to give the
minimum of $3,000 over three years,
but others who have been blessed with
abundance from God should consider
a more generous donation.
We are also actively seeking volunteers
to be involved in what ever capacity
that interests you. It is so exciting
to be part of a historic change that
is about to grace our community and
touch each and everyone of our lives.
You can be part of this legacy. Please
contact us and/or try to attend our
weekly meetings. Every effort is needed
and greatly appreciated. Look for
our announcements and a variety of
exciting events planned for all to
enjoy and feel part of. The Future
