Read more about Deacon Greg

On behalf of Father Dean and the Parish Council, I am pleased to announce on Sunday August 7, 2005, His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios of Boston will preside at the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy and Ordination of Reverend Deacon Gregory Christakos, to the Holy Priesthood, at Saint Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral.

It also gives me great pleasure to formally announce the assignment of Reverend Deacon Gregory, to serve as our Associate Pastor to assist Father Dean. Reverend Deacon Gregory Christakos’ assignment to our Cathedral marks a milestone in our community. Under the spiritual guidance and direction of Father Dean, Reverend Deacon Gregory will help to expand the spiritual growth of our community and allow for a more comprehensive attention to our community’s spiritual outreach.

All of our beloved parishioners are cordially invited to attend a luncheon reception to honor the ordination of Reverend Deacon Gregory into The Holy Priesthood. The reception will be held at Union Station The Restaurant, 2 Washington Square,
Worcester, Massachusetts, immediately following the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy. Join us in welcoming Reverend Deacon Gregory and Presvytera Eleni and their family to our community.

Please R.S.V.P. to Cathedral Office at (508)791-7326 or e-mail Megtsamb@verizon.net no later than Friday, July 29th. Due to expected attendance and strict restaurant guidelines, reservations will not be accepted after July 29th. If you have any questions please contact either Meg Tsambouniery or Sarah Kyriazis, Reception Chairpeople.
