Club was bustling with activity on Sunday,
September 10, 2006 as golfers arrived
to play in the 8th Annual St. Spyridon
Cathedral Golf Tournament. It was a
great day to be outdoors. The seventy
eight golfers participating in the Tournament
had an opportunity to win a Bayliner
inboard/outboard boat in a Hole-in-One
competition sponsored by Marine USA
– The Tsourides Family. There
was a longest drive contest and two
chances for closest-to-the-pin on two
of the par 3’s. To keep energy
levels up, Table Talk pies were given
to all the golfers as well as delicious
Italian grinders made by Shrewsbury
Pizzeria, P&D Oxford House of Pizza,
and Uncle Sam’s Pizza. After a
beautiful day on the golf course everyone
made their way to the Cotsidas Auditorium
for a Prime Rib dinner prepared by Mr.
Peter Gaba. To finish off a perfectly
prepared meal, we were treated to strawberry
shortcake for dessert. Thank you Peter
for a fabulous dinner!
