Dear Parishioners,
I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Happy Easter and I hope to see everyone in church services during Holy Week.
This promises to be a very busy year for all of us, with the building committee proposal for an addition and renovation to the auditorium, the upcoming Greek Festival on June 6th, 7th, and 8th, and the usual work associated with the running of our church.
I would like to thank all those that have dedicated so much of their time and talent on all of the committees, and the people that volunteer to help out during our special events, snow storms, or simply cleaning up around our church community.
The Greek Festival requires many volunteers, especially this year. We are attempting to bake all of the deserts ourselves as well as cut, marinate, and skewer our own kabobs.
The Greek Festival committee meets on the third Tuesday of every month at 7pm. Anyone who is available at this time and willing to help out, please try to attend. If you are unable to attend and would like to work on any committee, please contact a committee chairman and let them know when you are able to volunteer. Let's try to make this one of the most successful festivals ever!
Lastly, I would like to thank all those on the Parish Council for their commitment and dedication they have shown during the first quarter of this year. They have helped to make an easy transition to the new year, and continue to make it easy and enjoyable to work with them to facilitate the smooth progress of our church.
I would also like to thank Father Dean and Father Greg for all their hard work for our cathedral.
