Established by the CEOC. Located at St Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Established for emergency food assistance, the Food Pantry has distributed food for 150-200 families a week. The purpose of the Orthodox Food Pantry is to provide the citizens of Worcester with access to a 48 hour emergency food supply to fill a gap until services can be obtained.

The Food Pantry is open on a weekly basis on Saturdays from 10:00am-12:00pm.
St. Spyridon Parishioners are responsible for serving the Food Pantry needs, the second Saturday of every month. Each month, we provide emergency food supplies, on average for 130 household every month representing approximately 400 people in Worcester.
How can you help?
Food Providers: Regular donations of food items
Saturday Morning Volunteers: We need baggers and intake personnel to provide the food to our clients on Saturday mornings
Shoppers: Shoppers do once monthly runs to the Worcester County Food Bank during the week to insure that the Food Pantry is well stocked on the weekends.

Our Mission: To provide nourishment that feeds one’s physical, spiritual and emotional hunger through healthy fellowship.
The Feeding Ministry, with the help of our parish volunteers, is continuing to serve a luncheon meal for those in need on the second Saturday of every month from 11:30am-1pm in the Cotsidas Cultural Center.
